Receiving below Alerts on VMAX

Regarding the performance alerts, when your write performance exceeds 30ms and/or your read performance exceeds 20ms, users may start to notice issues. It could be the pool that the device resides on does not have enough disks, wrong RAID type, etc. Also, it is recommended to investigate your write pending cache to see if it is maxed out.

For the SPS-3B errors: those are benign. The VMAX tests its power supply on a periodic basis. That test causes an alert to be logged. EMC has planned to address this in a future release of Solutions Enabler / Unisphere for VMAX (I have not deployed 8.x version, yet, the fix might be there.) No action is needed for these alerts.

Thanks for your reply. Where can I download 8.x version of Unisphere for VMAX. Can I upgrade it from 1.5.0.6 to directly 8.x, any idea ?
