SRDF replication to new powermax system
New help with new SRDF set up.
We have2 powermax systems , both are in different locations. We want to start replication via ip.
So, we have configured RDF ports, we created IP interfaces on them. We have added IPs on the RMT table on both the systems.
As we are still not seeing the remote array from the local array in solution enabler. i tried to create a SRDF connection by selecting 1 RDF ports from each array. This is failing with the below error .
" The remote connection attempt for dynamic RDF group operation has timed out"
Please let us know what we can do here? How can we add the remote array to local array in solution enabler, so that we can start creating SRDF groups.

Are you able to ping the remote system? You may want to call phone support so they can remote in and see what is going on.

I am able to ping the system ips.
But when i do the below . it says symmetrix id is unknown.
C:\>symrdf ping -sid 000xxxxxxxxx
The specified Symmetrix ID is unknown.

@Dell_Sam_L The KB says we need to upgrade the solution enabler to 6.0.3 or greater.
But we already have 9.2.0 version.
