VMWare questions for VMAX 450F
We have a VMAX 450F, All flash array to run our VMware Server Cluster(150) and Desktops(1,000). Are there any optimization settings to take advantage of being all flash. I would like to do Virtual Volumes, but the Cisco UCS servers do not support that feature. Any recommendation of Volume Size? We usually do around 1 TB for View Datastores and 2 TB for Server Clusters. Is the VSI plugin for VCenter worth while installing?

I'll speak to your last question: is the VSI Plugin for vCenter worth installing? I'd recommend it. It provides useful coordination between the storage layer and vCenter, such as coordinate names of VMAX LUNs and datastore names in vCenter. You can also provision storage and control snapshots/clones thanks to the plugin.
