We have a VMAX10k and looking at a XtremIO. Differences?

From just a pure administration and management perspective, both are entirely different. The XtremIO has a very simple, intuitive, and easy to administer interface. The GUI is similar to say an HP EVA or IBM XIV and a non-storage admin could administer it. There is a steep learning curve administering VMAX arrays, which is far more complex and offers more features.  Administration tasks take longer on VMAX, especially if you aren't using scripts.  Both have their places depending on the use case.  Let me know if you have a specific area you want feedback on.
