Why VMAX3 ? Why not continue with VNX ?

Hi Admins,

In our shop we have a variety of Storage hardware like VNX 5400, HP 3PAR, NetApp. After going through the VMAX3 architecture and benefits in a recent workshop - I thought why not expanding or migrating our current setup with VMAX3. Since our organization is very sensitive with respect to spendings on budget - I have to provide few strong justifications as to why I should go for VMAX3 but why not expanding our current VNX 5400.

To be noted, we have capacity sensitive applications nor performance sensitive applications. But I can project down the line - we will definately come to a situation that we will be in a need of procuring more capacity and performance hardware.

I would appreciate if any EMC engineers who have been in such situations please share your thoughts.
