VMware SRM 5 with EMC CX4
Hello Experts
Customer says 'We are running VMware vsphere 4.0 and we also use Site recovery manager 4.
we plan to upgrade our infrastructure to the lates release vsphere 5 and SRM 5.
We found on vmware website compatibility matrix that there is no SRA for the Clariion CX4 and it's seems that with the CX4 we can't go more than the version 4.1
My question is: is it possible to use VMware site recovery manager 5 with our Clariion CX4-240 ?'
Please let us know if this is possible as I am not able to confirm with any document.

My findings are:
SRM 5.0 support EMC VNX SRA 5.0 & 5.0.1, supported arrays: Celerra/CLARiiON (include CX4)/VNX
SRM 4.x support EMC VNX SRA 4.0.23, supported arrays: VNX/NS
SRM 4.x support EMC MirrowView SRA 1.4.0.16, supported arrays: VNX/CLARiiON (include CX4)/AX etc

Thanks Jingyi! So SRM 5.0 will support all CLARiiON series with FC & iSCSI, but MirrorView Enabler for VNX SRA is required.

Simon, SRA is developed by PIE team of ESG. I have contacted the engineering team and will get back to you later.
