Adobe Flash Player EOL

Unisphere for VNXe3300 can not start due to Adobe Flash Player EOL.

Is there a work around?

Please use the RPclassicUI as suggested in my post.

Download : VNX Launcher

is a virtual machine based on java, has the portable Firefox browser with integrated flash plugin. Download it from the DELL website and install it, it works fine. Finally you can access your Unisphere.

What link are you using? https://dell.to/38UkPr2

Try the one in here.

403 Access Denied - You do not have access to the file

same result. I'm trying to download the VNX loader to see if that helps me access my VNXE3200

You may need to call phone support and see if they can transfer the file to you. I have not been able to replicate the error with the download.

Here's the workaround that I used until I upgraded to the latest system software version on our VNX.

http://andkon.com/arcade/faq.php

  1. Download and install the Pale Moon browser 32-bit version.
  2. Remove Adobe Flash Player NPAPI 32 if higher than 32.0.0.371
  3. Download and install the last version of Flash (32.0.0.371) without the disabling timer. Feel free to select "Never check for updates" during the installation process. Restart Pale Moon
  4. Open the Pale Moon browser and navigate to your VNX Unisphere login page and sign in.

Hello DellManD,

If you are not able to still access the links that have been provided, then it would be best to contact support so that we can try to transfer you the file. I have also tried, and I am not getting the errors that you are getting.

Hello all,

DellManD, have you found a solution?  Dell wants to charge me T&M to help me.  Forget it.  I am able to get into the article linked to above and I'm going to try this self-contained Java fix.  Fingers crossed!

But that seems short term anyway.  I heard a rumor that there is a firmware update I can apply to my VNXe3150 (I know it's old, don't laugh) that will make the admin panel work on HTML5, not Flash.  Is that true?  If so, and I can get this temp Java thing to work, I'll update right away and remove the temp fix.  Bottom line is that I need to keep this 3150 in production for a few more years and, , I need to access it!

HELP!

THANKS!

CB

There is no GUI update planned for the VNXe3150 to support hmtl5

There is one for the VNXe3200 models which are a generation later - that wont run on the 3150

OK, so the 3150 will never be updated away from Flash?  ARGH!  Hopefully, then, this JRE thing works.  Thanks.
