if it applicable or not.

sorry - but most likely this document doesnt apply

It describes the support for MirrorView/S *if* its used for NAS / file - i.e. you have a Celerra that you are completely mirroring synchronously for NFS / CIFS

Since the original poster is coming from a CX4 Clariion its not very like he meant using it for NAS / file

For SAN LUNs:

Mirroring with thin LUNs as primary or secondary images is supported only between storage systems running FLARE 04.30 or later.

For mirroring between storage systems running FLARE 04.30, the primary image, secondary image, or both images can be thin LUNs.

A thin LUN cannot be used in the write intent log.
