EMC VNX5300 http not responding
Hi,
I have a VNX5300 which I cannot connect to. Ping and snmpwalk works fine, but https service seems to be down.
How can I restart the http service? Or remotely restart the SPs?
Thanks,
James.

I think that naviseccli using https port too. So no - that doesn't work either.

How to restart the Management Server
If spa&b http://spa/setup doesn't work, try to connect to its service lan port:
The Service LAN of the two SPs in every VNX series storage system has the following factory-set IP addresses:
• SP-A: 128.221.1.250 (Service LAN port on SP-A SAN Management Module)
• SP-B: 128.221.1.251 (Service LAN port on SP-B SAN Management Module)

We've had this happen several times, on both R32 and R33. Ping works fine but there is no http/https and can't get to the /setup page.
The fix is to trespass all LUNs the other SP and reboot the SP or have support go in via ESRS (Remotely Anywhere) and kill the management process (preferred).

R33 is vnx2. R31 &32 is vnx1.
There has been a bug in r31 which is fixed in r32.
You should look at opening a case
