How to backup pass-through disks on Hyper-V VM?

We have a Windows 2012 R2 cluster with VM's using multiple very large 10TB pass-through disks containing SQL data.  We were hoping to use VEEAM for backing up the environment but they don't support the backup of virtual SCSI attached pass-through's.  Does anyone know of a work around or have a recommendation on which SW to use to accomplish this?

SCSI passthrough devices limit the Hypervisor's ability to take image-level backups of the LUN.  Your best option would be to use a host-level backup application, since you have SQL data on those disks.  Products like EMC Avamar support backups of virtual SCSI attached pass-through devices at the guest level, but it's not likely you'll find any backup applications that will do an image-level backup at the host level.

Let us know if that helps!
