What is the advantages between PDM and VDM?

if i create file system i have to chose data mover in the wizard.

if i select VDM what are the advantage for future?

1 am creating pool.

2 creating Lun for file storage and add to file storage

3 create VDM

4 create Filesystem (choosing DM Created VDM)

5 Create CIFS server

6 Enable Home Folder

This steps right or not?

I have a 1500 users.my available capacity 100TB .so we decide to allocate 50GB per user.am creating 6 file systems with 15TB and one 10 TB.300 users for one file system(300 X 50GB =15TB).my plan cifs server join with domain and enable to home folder per user.

Q1 .if i enable home folder how to decide which file system use to store user data.(AD management group user data store in Mgmt_FS)
