Possible to "force delete" storage pool?
Hello,
We were hit by the infamous Hitachi 600 GB 15K SAS firmware bug, but fortunately it only affected a storage pool that was recently created with no actual LUNs bound to it. One of the Hitachi drives failed, due to the bug, so I tried to delete the storage pool, but 6-7 days later the storage pool is stuck in the "Deleting" phase at 0%. If I try to perform another "Delete" in the Unisphere GUI, I get this error:
Unable to destroy the Storage Pool because it is Destroying
It appears as though we are in some sort of endless loop, where the storage pool cannot be deleted. I'd like to delete the storage pool, upgrade the Hitachi disk firmware, and then create a fresh new storage pool and then create my new LUNs. Does anyone know a way to "force delete" a storage pool that is in this "zombie" state? I can't seem to find a naviseccli command for this. Thanks!
Bill
