Problem creating a sql server 2012 db on a network shared drive
Hi,
I'm getting the error "operating system error 1808" when creating a sql server 2012 db on a network shared drive (VNX 5100/cifs).
Howerver I haven't problems when creating this on a NTFS shared drive.
Can anybody help me? ...
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Thanks for your help.
Reading about SMB, I need to run the command server_cifs if I need to know the SMB release... from VNX OE.
I have never logged in the VNX OE. Please, how can I log in?
Thanks a lot.

Data mover name is usually server_2
See man server_cifs for examples – or download the CIFS manual and the command reference guide for file from support.emc.com

Sorry I saw server_2 but I thought that was an example.
Running the command the result is the following:
512 Cifs threads started
Security mode = NT
Max protocol = SMB3.0
I18N mode = UNICODE
Home Directory Shares DISABLED
Usermapper auto broadcast enabled
Thanks.
