Statistic data unavailable in SP A & B ?
Hi All,
Does anyone know why I cannot view the performance value of the storage operations from Navisphere ?
Any help to assist me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Did you enable statistics logging? It's under the general tab. You can either enable it manually or it gets enabled automatically once you start the data logging under the Analyzer section.

OK - I tested CX4 running flare 30, VNX running flare 31 and 32. In all cases, to see the Statistics when you look at the Properties/Statistic tab for the SP, you must have the Analyzer Enabler installed AND Statistic Logging enebled.
I also found that with flare 32 on VNX, that you must use the specific IP address of the array you want to check, not just to Domain master. If you log into the domain master and then select a different array, when you look at Data Logging or Statistic, you are not getting the correct information. This is an issue with R32 only. It works correctly for R30 and 31 arrays/domains. This will be fixed in an upcoming release to R32.

PS - in the screen capture above, that is what you see when Statistic Logging is Disabled.

glen,
so you must have Navi/Uni-alyzer installed just to see the basic statistics ?

Basic stats should not need Analyzer enabler installed, only enabling of Statistics Loggin should be enough.
If not this would be a bug...

Something was wrong in my testing yesterday - for some reason, the statistics did not show up, when I tested again today, the statistics for the SP will display if Statistic Logging is enable - you DO NOT need to have Analyzer installed or running.
So, sorry for the confusion all. This time I tested back to release 24 (26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32).
If you do not see the Statistics and Statistic Logging is enabled, try restarting the management server and see if that helps.
