Tape connectivity to VNX
Hi,
what is the maximum number of tape drive that can be connected directly to VNX5300(FC interface on DataMover)??

at least 8 (current maximum of NDMP streams per datamover on supported models)

Hi Dynamox,
Each data mover in VNX5300 has 4 FC port out of which 2 are used for captive connection.Can i Connect two tape drive directly (not through FC switch) to the remaining two FC ports.

i personally have always used an FC switch in the middle but according to document (Configuring NDMP Backups on VNX) it's supported. I know it says SCSI, but it's really FC, there are no SCSI ports on datamovers.
