Thin lun confusion
I have a question about thin lun in a mixed tiering pool with fast vp.
I migrated a thik lun to a thin lun that was 1.8TB but windows only used 1TB of that lun. After the migration I saw that the consumtion only was 1TB
but when I take a look at it now it consuming 1.9TB of the lun. Anyone know what happend and why?

Maybe Windows defrag ?

Nope that didnt help.

Of course defrag doesnt help – it actually hurts since it will move used to block to unallocated blocks
To reclaim the storage – run sdelete.exe on the Windows box and then do another online LUN migration to a thin LUN
