VNX 5100 Storage Pool LUN Expansion
Hello,
Pretty simple looking to expand an existing LUN on a storage pool. The storage pool has 433.846GB Free & the LUN is currently 600GB. When i right click on the LUN i get an option to expand which brings up the box below. Would i enter the new size say 900GB and the san will take care of the rest? It's a live SAN and it's my first time expanding a LUN so i want to be 100% sure before clicking OK.

yes, just specify 900G. After that you will need to go to Disk Administrator, rescan to see the new capacity and then use diskpart to extend the partition.
