VNX CIFS Question
Trying to clarify something that I have tried to test with no success so far unless I just missed something. On a VNX7500 is it possible to have a CIFS share under a CIFS share? Example of what I am really asking below in case of and confusion.
Share Currently Allocated
\\CIFSSERVER\DEPARTMENT
It is being asked to add another share that goes to the same data but at a deeper level
\\CIFSSERVER\DEPARTMENT\GROUPNAME
It is possible to do this with CIFS on the VNX? If so is there any possible issues that could arise that anyone has seen?

sure, just like a Windows server where you can create multiple shares at multiple levels in the file system structure. No issues, basic functionality.
