Hi Gaganpreet,
This is to reply your thread VNX error msg Caught an exception. Look at the status errorcode to determine the actual cause of the exception. File: D:/Views/0699e7e11349fbf84a51136b5f0c1b2f.stg/catmerge/Layered/Cpm/Src/CpmAdmin/K10CpmAdminLib/K10CpmAdmin.cpp Line: 2483 Details . Seems there is a bug that I can not reply to that thread. Maybe the subject is too long?
"Caught an exception. Look at the status errorcode to determine the actual cause of the exception. File: D:/Views/0699e7e11349fbf84a51136b5f0c1b2f.stg/catmerge/Layered/Cpm/Src/CpmAdmin/K10CpmAdminLib/K10CpmAdmin.cpp Line: 2483 Details: Caught a K"
Is this the entire message?
"SANcopy returned an error on an status query. File: D:/Views/1a64920901cce623ab8d7df110101541.stg/catmerge/Layered/FAR/src/FARLib/SPpoll.cpp Line: 2264 Details: Unable to query sancopy status, sancopy returned an error 712a8032 Status: 0x712a8032"
Refer to KB85153 https://support.emc.com/kb/85153, this information can be ignored:
"This event log entry can be ignored. The messages show up whenever an SPCollect is run. The MirrorView/A component will try to query information from SAN Copy. If no mirrors were created, this error is expected."
