VNX5200 for file Setup - Question -
Hi there,
I'm setting up a VNX5200 for file. I've a doubt about creating POOLS or RAIDGROUPS for celerra LUN's.
Before ... it was not recommended create celerra LUN's into POOL with FASTVP enable, but now in VNX2 I'd like to know if this recommendation should be follow or not.
What do you think about this? RAIDGROUP or POOL ?

Follow the best practices document - you need to match what you might be putting on the shares.
Overall though - If you/customer has purchased FAST software package and tiers of disks - I would strongly consider going the pool route (as long as it matches best practices for your data types). One of the great values of the VNX is its ability to do automatic tiering in a file pool, doing regular RGs does not leverage what was purchased and getting the most from the powerful array.
