I do not think that this is going to be an issue with Flare.
You said that the problem followed the SPS to the alternate SP; you did not specify whether the sense cable was moved as well, but that sort of diagnostic is a pretty strong 'finger pointer'...just as it is supposed to be.
You can use a version of flare that is not the latest - 32.218.
As to the Flare version on the other array's that not a problem what I'm aware of - you should be OK. But you do want to upgrade the other array at some point as 32.215 is getting old.

We may not have support with EMC so I cannot really raise an SR.
Is there any alternative..?

Maybe related to KB https://support.emc.com/kb/464842
I have seen this before when i used work in support and usually we ended up in scheduling a power cycle/code upgrade
Its a known issue on older revisions of code (including 204)
Rel 32 P219 has been target code for Rel 32 for some period of time so I would recommend getting to that release
Thanks

Hi,
The SPS was moved along with a new sense cable. And the sense cable was
replaced twice. I strongly feel that it is something to do with the Flare
itself.
Here is the Kb article that I referred.
https://emcservice.force.com/CustomersPartners/kA2j0000000R5MZCA0
So I just wanted to confirm if its fine for me to take the system to the
Flare level R32 218 from R32 204. Even though the latest code available for
VNX5300 is R32 219. Can I still take the system to one level less that the
latest revision.
Also we have a Mirrorview enabled on this system which is getting the data
replicated from a VNX5500. The Flare version running on VNX5500 is
05.32.000.5.215.
Kindly confirm me whether I can upgrade the VNX5300 to R32 218 while the
VNX5500 is still 05.32.000.5.215.
Regards,
Prassi
