Amber light, sleep mode

I have a Dell Vostro 3470. It has a few problems. Whenever I am using my computer, it is running fine, after a while my monitor enters sleep mode automatically while using and the computer stays on. It doesn't exit the power saving mode no matter what I click. I have to force shut down the computer from the power button. After force shutting down the computer. It turns on and then starts blinking in orange/amber light. The code is 2-7 which indicates RAM failure. I have tried cleaning the RAM modules and slots, replaced RAM, reinstalling windows, installing a new CMOS battery. Please tell me what the problem can be, its happening since a while and its really annoying now, I cant use my computer well.

(Also sorry about my Bad English)

Sounds like a cmos corruption issue.  Gives fake ram error when it is messed up itself after a bad wake up from sleep.  If still within warranty chat w Dell to have it repaired.

I thought about it, I had installed a new CMOS back then and since then it started happening, but my date and time isnt messed up so its hard to know, and my warranty is expired so I cant chat with them. I will see and try to get a different cmos battery, thx for the help
