Battery not charging
Problem 1 white light and 4 orange light .And battery plugged in not charging but both battery and adapter(charger) are new
In BIOS showing as ac power apapter unknown and battery is idle .I changed 4 battery which i have and also charger also it is showing same .in toolbar it is showing battery is not present but in hardware battery is present.I tried cleaning, reinstalling drivers,updating BIOS and Every methord nothing is working .
pls help

My model is dell vostro 14-3401 .It is dell orginal adapter
And i gave to store to repair they said "we don't know and take this to dell services"
they also said it is fine all hardware are correct no pins are bend they also used to change adapter but it is same
and it is showing the pc will adjust the performence accoding to power as seen in the picture

Most likely DC jack board has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

What is the exact model of your system? And in general if the adapter is unknown then either the adapter is bad (or not a genuine Dell adapter) or the DC jack is bad (missing or bent centre pin) or the MB has a problem. Do you have a genuine Dell battery and adapter?
