Dell Vostro 3481, SSD Upgrade

Hello, i got a question about upgrading SSD in my vostro 3481.

Crucial 500GB MX500 series SATA is so fast and high performance!, I want to upgrade that yet.

Thank you for any help.

The 3481 is compatible with 2.5" SATA and M.2 NVMe/PCIe SSD both up to 2 TB in storage. The M.2 is considerably faster than the SATA drive but both will give you much faster performance if you presently have an HDD. The specs are listed here. And Crucial drives here.

Welcome to the Dell Community @PranavRP2010

Crucial drives are extremely compatible and reliable but I find them to be slow.

Drive: Crucial 256GB MX500

Avg. Speed: 1,924,084 kb/s

Drive: Lite-On LCS 256GB

Avg. Speed: 2,209,706 kb/s

Best regards,
