Dell vostro 3515 fan speedup.
G'day.
Lately, I have noticed that my Dell Vostro 3515 randomly speeds up its fan, causing the screen to freeze for the entire duration the fan is running at high speed. Additionally, there is static noise coming from the headphones during this time.
I have already performed hardware scans and updated the drivers, as well as the BIOS, to the latest versions. However, these steps did not resolve the issue entirely. While updating the BIOS did reduce the frequency of the fan ramping up, it still occurs occasionally.
To address the problem, I uninstalled SupportAssist after seeing suggestions that it could be the cause. Since then, the fan has not ramped up again.
If anyone has any insights or suggestions regarding the potential cause of this issue, please let me know.

Hi I am having the same problem. Has uninstalling Support Assist continued to solve condition?

Yep, it has solved the problem for me, it hasn't occured since then.

Mate I have done everything you said except for the seek assistance from a professional technician, they haven't fixed it, but uninstalling support assist has.
