Laptop heationg issue

Vostro 5620

Vostro 5620

I recently purchased Vostro 54620 laptop on 30th Sep 2022 and from the very next day the issue of heating started. I logged complaint on 2nd Oct. But i was told to update drivers, BIOS and thermal readings. On 16th Oct the video card failed and after such damage complaint was taken for replacement. But now the onsite service is delayed stating parts are not available and its expected to ship by 31st Oct. If all goes well it will repair in the 1st week of November.

This is really not acceptable, and no one is taking the issue seriously. Also, no one is bothered about customer concern. Dell is not worried on how the customer is getting impacted. Such pathetic service from Dell is not at all acceptable.

Your Dell computer can overheat because of insufficient air flow due to dust or debris blocking the air vents, exhaust ports, or a clogged fan. An overheating computer can intermittently restart, shutdown, or experience performance issues. Eventually excessive heat can cause damage to the internal components.

If the system was purchased direct from Dell, arrange a refund or replacement under the 30 day satisfaction guarantee.
