New Vostro Laptop windows 11 activation error
Vostro 3400
Hi all,
My Vostro 3400 have an issue in windows activation after updating to win-11.
I see a watermark saying Windows activation required, how to resolve this.

Was the system purchased direct from Dell, and with Windows 10? Or was it purchased at retail or through a third party?
Did the system ship from Dell with Windows 10 (you can use the service tag to look that up -- dell.com/support).
Make sure you've connected the system to the Internet -- that is required for activation.

I bought from third party (Amazon).
The Laptop was pre installed with windows 10 and when the windows updated to 11, I see the watermark saying 'Activate Windows'.

You need to contact the seller and use the service tag to verify what shipped with the system. It is very possible to order systems without an operating system, or with Linux -- which means there's no license key on the system board. That in turn will trip and activation request when you install the operating system.
Your seller can tell you.

Some unscrupulous sellers will install unactivated Windows 10.
