Please check if the Hard drive or Solid State Drive is listed in BIOS? If no drive listed, reset BIOS to Defaults to see if it will get the BIOS to detect drive again.
This is not a solution to the problem. The version of bios in the "solution" you mentioned isn't the same. The option to switch to legacy isn't there at all.
