Vostro 3750 - 0xc000000f Boot Selection Failed
Restarted laptop and it will not load Windows. Says “0xc000000f the boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.”
It will not let me start in safe mode. I can get to the BIOS menu or it wants me to boot off Windows CD. I have not installed and other hardware or devices. I am looking for the original Windows CD but in the meantime am happy to try other suggestions. Any insight and advice greatly appreciated.

Run a full system diagnostic - F12 at powerup.

After F12 at reboot I get a message about Boot Selection failed because a required device is unavailable. Then I get “Windows failed to start” screen with the choices of “Launch Startup Repair or Start Windows Normally.” (It says restart with Windows 7). Selecting either option gives me the same message I started with “Windows failed to start.” I have a product key on the laptop from purchase - is there a way to create a startup via flash drive that is compatible? Any thoughts or options are greatly appreciated
The only other message is I am getting a message that it does not recognize my battery (which no longer charges—I have a replacement I have not installed yet) but prior to this kept battery plugged in and ran on electricity as battery would only charge to about 5% then stop.

No follow up suggestions received in 3 weeks. Any insights greatly appreciated.
My guesses are: 1) boot off usb “boot disk” 2) take the hard drive out and get an adapter to get access to the data and 3) pay to take it somewhere for someone to do the boot disk and assess anything else going on.
