Vostro 5481 - Windows 11 take an hour to get to login screen

Hi, I have this frustrating problem after upgrading to Windows 11 (via Windows 11 Upgrade Assistant). After boot up or screen lock, it takes me about an hour to able to input my PIN to login or unlock my notebook. I can not use Ctrl Alt Del or enter Task Manager by any means (note that I was not logged on if the PC just booted up). I have tried to reinstall Windows 11 via Reset PC (keep personal files) but the problem won't go away.
Does anybody have the same problem? How do you fix it? I really don't want to go back to Windows 10.

Thanks,
Dat.

This has been escalated to the Vostro team. They were able to duplicate the issue.

One workaround that was tested is to disable Intel Integrated Sensor Hub Driver (346RV) in Device Manager, then reboot the computer.

We do not have a solution to this yet nor do we have an ETA on a solution. We will post on the thread as soon as we have an update.

It works for my Vostro 5481.

I got win11 update from win10 by all default windows update settings. It turned out one day it stopped at the login screen. I hate the way software rollout without user consideration.

Would you please provide step by step instructions on how to disable Intel Integrated Sensor Hub Driver. I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 17 3000 from windows 10 to Windows 11.  I then updated the bios using the Dell update program.  I now cannot get the computer to boot-up.  I get the DELL logo and a nonstop spinning ball.

I had the same issue after updating my Vostro 5481, the login screen appeared once and after that the screen went black. The weirdest thing is that I was able to access it through Remote desktop. So through the remote connection I was able to disable the Integrated Sensor Hub and after a restart it started working......but anyway this is a workaround, hope Dell is able to fix it soon.

I installed w11 without the updates en disabled the intel sensor driver. But unfortunately it didn't work. I wonder when Dell comes with a good solution.

Why do you want us to PM when the issue has been stated clearly on this topic?

well, we are going into the 7th month without an official and proper solution. I knew Dell as a company with good customer support and I see that this has changed. Unfortunately this is my second Dell model, probably the next one won't be

Finaly I managend to install W11, as discribed earlier.

I installed-upgrade to W11. When it's done it will stalls on the black screen with the cursor. I forced the computer to shut down. Turn on the computer and push by the Dell logo, the f8 button. Start windows in safe mode. Then you can disable the Intel Integrated Sensor, in the device manager. You can now restart your computer, and it should work now.

I'm curious when there will by an new driver update for this.

Once into Windows 11, try disabling Microsoft Teams from start up, then restart the PC.
