Vostro 7620

Vostro 7620

I am using corded keyboard and mouse connect to WD19. WD19 is connect to my Vostro 7620 via USB type c

I am experiencing from time to time my Vostro will suddenly lose control of mouse and keyboard (cord and connected to WD19 via USB). I need to disconnect and connect WD19 (USB-Type C) to my Vostro 7620 to make keyboard and mouse work again.

my current version WD19 Dock Ec 01.01.00.05

is anyone experience similar situation?

*PS: When I am typing and just the time keyboard and mouse lose connection, the last key I type just keep repeating on screen. If I last type e it will show "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....."

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership of both the Vostro 7620 and the WD19. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them the Dell order number for the WD19.

This Dell Commercial Docking Compatibility chart shows that you must be using a 180W AC adapter with the WD19.

If your WD19 shipped with the 130W AC adapter, ALSO connect the provided 130W AC adapter to the Vostro 7620, then retest.

If you are already using the WD19 180W AC adapter, go ahead and ALSO connect the provided 130W AC adapter to the Vostro 7620, then retest.
