This looks like an error from a desktop system, not a notebook.  Either way, if the fan has been replaced with a non-OEM part, you need an OEM part.  If it's the original or OEM:

That said, unplug the system and disconnect and reconnect the fan.  If that doesn't solve the error issue, replace the fan with a new OEM part. 

If that fails to address the issue, replace the system board.
