Window 11 is not working on vostro
I am using DELL vostro series laptop model vos -5581, cpu - i5 -8265U, purchased on 2021, RAM 8 gigs and expandable to 16 gigs, Hdd 1 tb and processor i5. Since the launch of window 11, I tried to install this twice. First time, lappy showed issue of not working window 11 after complete installation. Second time again yesterday on dated 11/11/2022 I installed window 11. I have all the proofs of that. But again lappy showed the same issue, window 11 is not working. Then I submitted my lappy to sell authorised Center at about 12 pm on dated 12/12/2022 and at around 5:30 pm they said that window 11 will not work on my laptop. Is it the same issue with any other customer. Plz share the resolution. Dell should take care of it and must resolve my problem as I have invested my lots of money not only in keeping the techs for show, while they should respond to current software and compatibility to at least common software.

As long as Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 are enabled in the BIOS, it should work. Have you downloaded the Windows 11 media creation tool here? That will create a bootable Windows 11 installation flash drive. The support page for the 5581does show Windows 11 drivers are available which would indicate Windows 11 compatibility. Also your CPU is on the list of compatible processors for Windows 11.

Did you try updating BIOS?
