worst computer ever

I unfortunately bought a Dell computer: never again.

freezes all the time! When I check Task manager, Memory is never less than 80% even when I am not using any programs or Apps. Also disc is permanently at 100%

I think my commodore Amiga worked better than this.

What exactly is your Dell model number and version of windows ?  Example Vostro 15 3562, windows 10

If you don't know, type msinfo32 onto the search box, stroll down to System Model, you should see it now.

In the meantime, run Dell ePSA Preboot Diagnostic to check the hardware within system by following steps in link below. The Dell utility will rule out any faulty hardware that might be causing problems on the computer. Please report back any error code.

ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment (Official Dell Tech Support):

If there's no error code.....

Run the System File Checker tool by following steps in link below. System File checker finds corrupt system files and fix them as well. It's also know to fix Memory issues.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

I have already had a service engineer come out and  the hard drive replaced which did not help in any way.  Afterwards, I contacted customer service writing that it had not in any way helped and after 3 emails got not a single reply.

My computer service number is vosotro 15-3568 and it is running windows 10.

All of these things I included in the emails that I received no reply to.

sorry, but this computer from the day I got it has been nothing but a waste of time, and has caused me no end of grief including problems with my job. I have run the things you mentioned and they always say there is no problem, so if that is the case then this computer (i don't know if it is the model, programs that you put on it, hardware or just a badly designed computer) is not fit (nor has it ever been) for purpose. I would and this is something I said in the emails either want it fixed properly or a replacement one (I actually tried to return a few days after buying it, but they refused, as I was in Vietnam the staff simply stopped being able to understand English)

however, if it isn't sorted then all I can do when I buy my next computer is to ignore anything that has the Dell logo on it

Thank you for showing why I will never buy a Dell again! ever since I bought this computer and was refused either replacing or receiving a refund for it even though I made you aware of it being faulty from the onset.

Firstly, feigned concern, followed by no action or dialogue. What a waste of over $500!

Your customer service has without doubt been the most fake, and worthless. Just like your computers!

I hope you feel proud of your response

Hey, please don't bash the Amiga ... it was awesome.

If you decide to keep your Vostro going (or gift it away) I suggest you install a 240gb SSD as Drive-C (as it should have had from the beginning).
