VPLEX LUN naming convention

Hello,

Just wondering how other people do their naming conventions for LUNs under vplex. I am deploying a metro configuration (with VMware) and it seems like there's lots of different ways of approaching how a LUN is named.

The plan right now is to use the following:

Server/Cluster_WinningSite_Type(Local or Distributed)_RP Protected_LUNID

I'll give two examples:

Physical Server Oracle1 with no RP protection

Oracle1_Site2_Distributed_500

VMware Server in Cluster "SQLCluster" with RP protection

SQLCluster_Site1_Distributed_RP_1001

Though, my problem that I am seeing now is that Unity has no way to set a LUN ID (you could do this on the VNX). I would appreciate any feedback someone could offer for this topic.
