Computer Group - Pooled - Different Print-IT Settings

Question

Hi, we are testing to use a Computer Group with Pooled VDIs, that means without persistent assignement of users to a computer in connection with Metprofiles. We have now an Issue with Print IT Settings. For some users we have to use the AutoCreate Option with Value 3 and for some others we have to use Value 2 Because these are HKLM Settings we cannot save in the users profil. Any ideas how we can devide this settingn on users ? in the sam pool of VDIs? Thanks, attiq

Are your Users Local admins?

If they have enough rights, you could easily have 2 VBscripts (1 per group) that runs at login and sets it to the appropriate setting.

Or the easiest option is to have 2 desktop groups, 1 for each group with the correct image for each.

I know it's only a tiny difference between the images but it's still a difference

Yes. i now that will do the trick, but is there any option via Policys ?

Because your solution is that every user has to set his client for print settings, but we want to do this from adminnistrator side, so we can handle these settings..
