Thank you for your reply, I believe the issue you had may be related to the finger print reader driver on the Lenovo laptop. We previously identified that there was a clash between this device driver and our USB component driver on some Lenovo models, when installing the 7.2 client.
We have a hotfix, updated vWorkspace client, that can be used to avoid this problem.
If you are able to log a support case for this then I can provide you with a link to download the update. I believe it is also available on our Quest Support Portal.

This must be laptop specific as I have just tried on another 64Bit windows 7 laptop and it's fine
I will follow the troubleshooting guide

What was the model of laptop that you first installed the vWorkspace client on?
When you installed on another laptop was this the same type/model?
Also, what is the version of the vWorkspace client you are using?

Hi David,
The make and model of the first laptop was :-
lenovo W510 (Enhanced Experience)
and the second was :-
lenovo W510
The version of vWorkspace is 7.2.302.414
