1394 Net Adapter

I was checking my error logs and noticed this problem. "The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:ohci1394". I know these are the driver(s) for the 1394 Net Adapter which has something to do with the firewire connection which I have never used. I have been watching this for a few weeks now and it has happened maybe three times out of about 20 or so start-ups. I did what was suggested by the error report link and uninstalled and reinstalled the hardware. I did get a pop-up that something was wrong with the installation and it might not work right. When I re-install the drivers it tells me that windows can not find a better match then I have. Does anyone know if there is a solution and if not can I just disable the device? Do I need it? Thank you for any help.

I had same error (ID7026) on log,  and found that it was the driver for the Tex. Inst Firewire board the would not load.   Uninstalled the TI and reinst. it to fix the  problem.

Thank you for the reply. I posted that in November and have since corrected the problem. The solution was exactly what you said. It took a couple of trys reinstalling the drivers but I have not had a problem with it since.
