i am a M1530 user  , and using Vista Home premium..... here are my harddisk partition , C for Os , D is dell recovery , E for backup drive...i thinking to format my OS in C drive ...

 

MY question is :

1)   Does dell pc restore from recovery D: perform the full format instead of fast format ? because it uses only 15 minutes to format and install everything.

2) if it is fast format , so how do i carry out full format on C drive and then perform the dell pc restore ? my friend stopped me when i want to fully format C , he said the format process will damage the Boot loader in C drive and corrupt all partitions ??? i dont understand at all so i need some experts opinion to do fully format and apply dell pc restore..
