Auto Reply in Outlook Express is faulty

there is no auto reply in Outlook Express.

 

There is on in Outlook.

 

Click on tools

 

click on Office Assistant

 

turn it on or off.

 

If you don't have an office account, then you have to go to your email account on the webserver and turn the vacation responder off.

 

What isp do you have?

 

 

According to my start menu, I have outlook express.  My ISP would be Time Warner Cable and I just submitted the very same question to them.  I'm awaiting a response from them.  Very frustrating!  Thank you.

So I'm guessing that you accidentally changed something on the webserver at Time Warner.

I didn't change anything with Time Warner Cable.  I didn't change anything in my Auto Reply box.   The settings are still set to off.  My hubbie says he thinks it's an Outlook Express issue as I have IncrediMail installed over the Outlook Express.  I've e-mailed Time Warner, Dell who made the computer, Microsoft offers no help.  I'm at a loss.

the computer would have to be on 24/7.

 

Look in the Incredimail settings for a vacation responder. Message rules would be the next place to look at.

Look in your signature. The vacation responce would be if someone sent you an email, they would get a responce saying(whatever your message was)

 

A signature can be whatever you make it in thhe bottom. Incredimail usually puts their little elephant there advertising Incredimail. Text can also be there. AOL, Yahoo and MSN also put signatures in emails when you use the webserver.
