B1163w Mono MFP scan assistant error

Hello,  I am currently having an error with my B1163w Mono MFP printer when i try to use scan assistant.  The error says "The requested image could not be scanned.  Please, check if your scanner is connected properly, if you system does not have enough memory, please, try to reduce the image resolution or size."  I have tried uninstalling everything for the printer, leaving the printer completely unplugged for more than 10 minutes.  I was wondering if there was a way to factory reset the printer, another way to fix this issue.  I have all the drivers up to date on the printer and I have 300 gb left on the drive i'm trying to scan the image into.

Same problem. Still looking for a fix.

Been using stock windows fax and scan. It works ok but can't save as pdf and lacks other options.

Thank you! I downloaded the Microsoft scan app and now the scan feature on my Dell B1165nfw works great. Sad that Dell won't fix their own issues :)

Good fix, thanks!

This also worked for the Dell B1265dnf Laser.

I have the same problem.

Unfortunately the link is dead.

Any other way where I can download the Microsoft Scan App?

The B1163w Mono MFP scan assistant error can occur when attempting to use the scan function on the printer. This error can be caused by a variety of factors, such as an outdated driver, connectivity issues, or software conflicts.

To resolve this error, the first step is to check the printer's driver and software. Ensure that you have the latest version of the driver and software installed on your computer. If not, download and install the latest version from the manufacturer's website.
