Backing up with Nero Express~ .nco files

Before evacuating in prep for Rita, we backed up my boss' computer using Nero Express. That computer ran Windows 98. She now has a new computer that runs XP. Most of the files on the backup discs are .nco files, compressed, and we don't know how to access them.

Is it possible (and how do I do it) to use these files on her new computer?
