backup and recovery "nag" screen

I installed an update to Dell recovery and backup recently.  I got the nag screen message to update the recovery media which I did.  I am repeatedly getting this nag screen even though I choose the don't remind me option.  How can I fix this?

The nag screen is to update to DBAR premium.  It does this every time you boot.   I became so annoyed with this I uninstalled DBAR.

Robin, I have same problem as bflora, she/he describes it clearly and exactly.  Your reply is hard to understand, and doesn't seem to be much to do with it.  I can find no 'options' to disable in Dell back up and recovery as you suggest.  If you are on subject here, could you clarify with more detail and clearer directions?   I'm on an Inspiron 3847, with W10.  I suspect that the update recently offered and taken by me and bflora was for W10.  And the nag screen as he accurately describes keeps coming at every boot, despite repeatedly taking its 'don't remind me again' option.  .  I sympathise with the second post that got so fed up that he took out Dell BU and R, but that should not be forced on us, there's somethimng here needs fixed, by Dell!

I also suffer this horrendous pop up and like James Alexander I don't see anywhere inside Backup and Recovery to stop this pop up from opening again. The pop-ups own don't remind me button does nothing. Just keeps reappearing over and over.

suthnuh, this is embaarssingly silly, but for me it was the answer, maybe it will be for you.  Besides choosing the 'don't remind me again' button, you also have to confirm that with another button at the bottom, something like 'OK', or 'submit' (don't rememeber now exactly what it was).  But for me the whole nag screen was cunningly placed in the bottom right hand corner of my monitor so that the second, necessary step wasn't visible without scrolling down to make it visible!  The trap for simple souls was to think that clicking on 'don't remind me again' was enough to do the job!  Any use?  James A

This retarded pop up keeps happening all the time and there seems to be no way of stopping it.  I am going to try and uninstall dell recovery as it has no other purpose than to present this pop up every few  minutes
