Battery/ A/C / other? problem. Dimension 5150 3.06gHZ
My computer is pretty messed. If I plug the A/C into my computer, it charges, but then fails to charge, and charges, unless I set the A/C cord in a perfect position. From there, it ends up not working again. I replaced the A/C cord and I tried my friends battery, but it still doesn't charge. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Inspiron 5150, right? This sounds like a problem with the power connector in the laptop, or with the connector on the cable that connects to the laptop. I'd suggest contacting Dell Support. From your description, the battery would charge if the power connector would remain connected.

i also have this problem
the 5150 ac adepter is ultra-super-mega-extra-etc.-etc.-etc. low quality
im on my 4th adepter and it only works, as u said in one position
ive been very dissapointed in quality
