Big Mistake - Need harddrive driver... Not EXE file

Hi guys,

Anyway, I'm having this problem. I was trying to install Windows Vista Beta which I got from the Microsoft site onto my Inspiron, anyway, I left my laptop while installing for the day and it got unplugged and battery died during install or shortly after but before it completed.

I'm now in no mans land, in Vista when I try continuing to install it doesn't recognize my harddrive and askd for the driver for it. I searched the dell site but the driver comes in a EXE file I need the actual driver, does anyone know how I can get it?

I believe my harddrive is the: HGST HTS726060M9AT00 (60gb) Mobile HDD
Travelstar 7k60....

Anyone have any ideas?

I found the XP Windows installing disc and can't even go back to that.....

Thanks

This is no such thing as a hard drive "driver".  Boot from the disc, delete the partition and then create a new one.  The process in Vista is just slightly different than in XP and even more so in the new RC1 Ultimate release I have.
