bootconf.exe file reload?

My  antivirus detected then quarentined bootconf.exe as having a trojan virus (unrepairable)....how do I reload this file? ....is there a simple fix? (do I have to start from scratch...)  How bad is this? 

help....thanks!~

Thanks for using the Dell Community Forum.

Your best bet would probably be to contact your anti-virus program's technical support group and see what they say.  I'll keep this here and let's see if anybody out there has solution for you.

TY steve, 4star reply but I hit wrong button...

...I take it then that bootconf.exe is user defined style sheet and not vital to the machines routine operation....

Far from being necessary for the computer's operation, the file is required to run the trojan of which it is a part. In case you missed the link in the site that Steve provided, specific information about bootconf.exe is contained here.
