Browsing history won't delete

  Hi forum members,

My problem this time concerns my inability to delete my browsing history.  After clicking on tools then delete history, I delete my files, then cookies, but when I click on history to delete that it goes on and on.  I have my history set on last sites visited today but that line keeps going and going no end in sight. Presently I have Internet 7 installed and this is the first time I had this problem with deleting past history.  A few days ago I went to my system setup (F2) on startup and changed my autostart from disabled to on in order to run my virus scans early in the morning before I get up.  Just a few minutes ago I went back to it and disable autostart again thinking this may have somehow impacted the software though I don't know how it could.

At any rate this is the crux of my problem today and I would dearly like some feedback on how to rectify this problem that is presently plaguing me.

Under the favorites bar in the Internet Explorer, I expect that is what you are using, there should be a tab for history, just delete the folders from there and that should delete the browsing history, then it is possible that you could use the normal function to see if it will work after you do this, if that doesn't work go to www.download.com and find CCleaner or Easycleaner by Toniarts, and that does get rid of Internet history, as well as Mozilla history and other items that are unuseful files, that just take up space on the hard drive.
