bsod after vista install regarding video

I did a fresh install of vista on a 30gb partition, I have the XPS M1710 notebook with the 512mb video card and 2gb of ram, the install went fine but when I tried to run the screen saver or open up spider solitare I would get the bsod stating a memory dump, with the error message of nv4-mini.sys then the system would shut down and reboot, I have updated the video driver and also the BIOS any help would be appreciated

This is an Nvidia driver problem as evidenced by the nv4-mini.sys error message. Nvidea is having a really hard time with their chipset and video drivers and Vista. Check with the Nvidia web site and forums for a solution.

thanks I was on the Nvidia site last night and downloaded the beta driver for Vista but when I went to install it it said that I didn't have vista installed, I also downloaded the current driver for my video card with no luck. I guess I will just have to hope they come up with the solution real quick , thanks again for you help
