Buy Windows 10 Enterprise...

I have inquired about buying Win 10 Ent for  a while and have always been told that pro is the highest version of win 10. Unfortunately, I did not take the time to look and trusted Dell in the answer. They do make an Enterprise version. Am I to understand that the Enterprise version for Windows 10 is now practically reserved for businesses? From what I saw in price tonight it is exorbitantly expensive. Is that why it is not offered to the consumer today? 
In the past I used to buy the enterprise version of office, OS, and other applications to give me the full capability of any of the program packages I used daily. Am I correct, that is not possible today?
