can i boot my system from an usb flash drive
hello dear if any body know that can i boot my system from usb flash drive if yes then please tell me procedure of that and if any body have make it and booting his system from usb flash drive then please tell me about it that how i can do it.
i will be very happy to find reply soon from all dear.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
What system do you have? Boot into the system bios and from there tab to the boot screen. You should see what your system will be able to boot from.

I have the same issue with a Dell GX400, BIOS v. A05. I need to boot from a USB to access a Ghost image on a server.

There are lots & lots of web sites that explain how to boot from USB flash drive e.g. this one
Otherwise just Google the term bootable USB flash drive
Two issues:
1. To make a USB flash drive bootable it needs to be formatted & contain required boot sector files
2. Computer System Setup (BIOS) options need to reflect ability to recognise USB boot device
Most modern computers do have mobo (motherboard) BIOS that recognise/allow USB boot device
As mentioned by Jesse L you need to enter System Setup (BIOS) by pressing F2 key during boot process
Check if there is a USB Device entry (preceded by a number) under Boot Sequence
If unsure about making changes in BIOS settings, get someone to help otherwise you could end up causing serious problems
Doesn’t look like the OptiPlex GX400 mobo BIOS has that feature, but you need to check
